Yesterday I received the call to get over to Sautter of Mount Street to view the eagerly anticipated range of branded porcelain accessories we have had commissioned.

I arrived to the most beautiful window I have seen to date at the shop, stocked with an amazing selection of cigars and cigar related items (we will even be selling Montecristo coffee!), including authentic souvenirs picked up by Johnny and Laurence on their travels to Cuba.

Well, that started me off on the right foot and I was loosened up and ready to be tantalised further. I entered the shop to find it full of our regular customers together with, Laurence, Johnny, Richard, Jeff and Natasha (the ceramics artist) the air THICK with the rich aroma of the finest quality Havana cigars. What followed could easily be referred to as pure bliss, as Natasha unpacked our ashtrays and set of 4 anniversary mugs.

After we had finished reviewing the items, choosing final finishing options and rectifying an issue with the lighter coloured mugs, it seemed that both Laurence and Natasha had surprises up their sleeves.

Natasha approached her remaining cardboard boxes with confidence and one by one opened the quality green gift boxes and displayed their contents. She had scoured her supplies and found the last ever genuine Cuban cigar brand ashtrays from their original runs. It’s hard for me to put into words my feelings about our new branded items. It has been an honour to work with the shop and to see them embrace their move forward. Sautter is a respected, friendly and dedicated cigar shop, full of the very finest products and now, side by side, we forge a new era for the brand never forgetting its heritage and firm roots.
