These look great in their box, wrappers are medium-brown, smooth and shiny with oils. This Churchill has very small veins with a damp-earth and old-leather aroma! This is my first experience with this cigar and I naturally tested upon receipt. I already enjoy the double corona and epicure2 from hoyo. Right away, the Churchill seems stronger and well into the medium range, being less sweet than the double. From the start one can experience substantial dark woods, cedar, peat, some olive notes and a spicy pepper finish. Excellent, well aged tobacco flavours that develop a powerful kick as smoked, becoming a head-banger in the final third, not harsh, just strong! Excessive puffing will quickly overheat this cigar and the tastes will suffer. The draw and smoke volume are very good with an even burn with silver ash.
