This is the king of the torpedos, the smoke is so pleasant once the end has been circumcised. Soft on the pallete, this cigar needs to be moist. A fantastic event cigar, you need to be watching a great match or having enjoyed a good claret to understand the full bodied subtlety of this masterpiece from Partagas. A johnny come lately to the Partagas stable or the reenactment of a vintage hero, no one is sure of the detail of its original providence, but thank God it was invented. Softer and smoother and not quite as powerful as its cousin the Monte Cristo torpedo, but it has legs and a mighty fine leg it has. I suggest you smoke the lighter ones quickly. One of the only torpedos to have its own carry case, a must have to the connoisseur or an up and coming aficionado. LD
