Product Description
After the initial cedar over-powering this was overall, a good Cuban smoke, dense with flavour and rich in the nose. Perhaps fortunately it managed to stay on the clean side most of the time. It did flirt with the cedar lingering in the background at any moment, but that never evolved into bitterness or roughness. The end, after a satisfactory duration of smoking, was short and concise: a dry, woody, intricate aroma took over as the cigar came to its finish. Not an extraordinary cigar but very good in what it set out to do. There will be many similar experiences in the vast Cuban spectrum, and indeed the RyJ no. 3 can provide an equal satisfaction when you find a neat one at a lower price. I however can imagine that people would grieve if this little stick were to disappear, particularly because it was simply a very pleasant, unpretentious cigar and these often make polished gems with some aging.
