This Robusto Extra EL features a pre-draw that is characteristic Partagás with an intense aroma and taste of hay and wet grass. The initial flavour of the stick was milder than anticipated although I detected wonderful hints of leather and cedar. These subtle flavours remained throughout the first half of the cigar with some peppery notes moving in and out of the flavour profile. The construction of the cigar was almost perfect, needing only minor touch-ups throughout.
Albeit mild, the flavours were well balanced with little harshness even in the final few puffs. Another wonderful EL.
