This is no doubt a famous torpedo. Often compared to the Monte No. 2, many smokers say that Upmann is stronger while others see it the other way round. Probably the best regular production Upmann I’ve ever smoked with solid tobacco flavours. Construction and burn were both really good and the woody, leathery vibe totally blew me away even though the torpedo was still young by most standards. The explanation is simple, as said for others from the brand and Cuban cigars in general- needs years of ageing to develop its whole potential and gets stronger with time.
