Tasting Notes from Eladio Diaz

“Dry strong sensations and clean smoke.

After lighting, it provides a lot of creaminess with an aroma perfumed as a forest, notes of coffee, dark chocolate and wood and has an equal balance, notes of dry fruit such as almonds. It gives humidity to the mouth but not to a level that will make the cigar smoker produce saliva. It has a clean smoke with no negative taste (like bitterness) ita a special blend that is difficult to compare to other cigars in the market, with a rare tobacco from the south of the Dominican Republic.

Terms of strength from 1-10 will be 6.6 in my opinion.”

Kiskeya Cigars are crafted using traditional rolling techniques that have been passed down through generations. Skilled artisans meticulously hand-roll each cigar, carefully blending the filler, binder, and wrapper leaves to achieve the desired flavour profile. This time-honoured process ensures the unique character and quality that define Kiskeya cigars.

The tobacco leaves for Kiskeya cigars undergo a meticulous ageing process involving heat and shade to reduce moisture content without causing spoilage. This process takes between 25 and 45 days, depending on climatic conditions. A slow fermentation follows, carefully controlling temperature and humidity to enhance flavour, aroma, and burning characteristics.

The Kiskeya blend stands apart from the rest with its use of rare tobacco from the South of the Dominican Republic. The cigars open with a creamy, perfumed aroma reminiscent of a lush forest, complemented by rich notes of coffee, dark chocolate, and wood. Expect hints of dried fruits and almonds, delivering a refreshing humidity without overwhelming your palate. With a clean smoke and no bitterness, it strikes a perfect balance.
